The question of Magic. Is it a force like unto gravity? Is it a force like in "Star Wars?" Are words used to preform it? Or is it unexplained?
When it is a force like gravity how does one command it? What are its limits?
If it is a force like in "Star Wars" then does it just come and go?
Because we are expecting new arrivals I would like to keep this question going just to let us all know what we are looking at.
I put it as a supernatural force that is not explained.

Those are very good questions!
I think that you are correct to say that it should be unexplained...but...well, i suppose that i can't really answer those questions in a very good way. And considering that we want to be original and not steal from Christopher Paolini or make the mistakes that he made (like saying that Arya wore leather for instance). We don't want to be to strickt with the way we modify magic.
So, you have some good points. I hope that we can keep this comment going with Vanir!
